Projected opening day:
November 22
***Subaru Demo Days: free equipment demos for all the top ski and snowboard manufacturers (Nordica, Atomic, Solomon, Head, Burton, Rossignol, Spy Optics, and more) along with a Saturday night apres-ski party and live entertainment (TBD).
December 8-9
Christmas Week: Family-fun activities including pictures with Santa, magic shows, live music, movies in the Big Top, crafts, a Christmas Eve Party and skiing and riding with Santa and Ms. Claus.
Activities December 15-25
New Year's Eve Bash: Something for all ages. Backcountry Hut New Year's Dinner, Party at Hoots, Connection Nightclub Party, The Big Top Pizza Party, Party at Split Rock Pools
December 31
College Winter Break: Sponsored by Red Bull, three days of live entertainment and partying. DJ Judd and Boogieburg, with TBA headline will bring down the house all weekend long.
January 3-6
West Virginia Open: Great competition and huge cash prizes set the stage for a great weekend of fun. Live entertainment TBA
January 26-27
***Jose Cuervo Games of Winter: A Snowshoe tradition. The biggest party weekend of the year.
February 1-3
Cupp Run Challenge Sponsored by Subaru: Skiers and boarders tackle the 1,500 vertical feet and 1 ¼ miles of giant slalom excitement on Cupp Run. A classic Snowshoe event celebrating its 25th anniversary.
February 4
Spring Break '08: Traditional college fun for co-eds of all ages, sponsored by Budweiser.
March 6-8
Last Call Foam Festival: New this season, this event is the perfect way to end the season with a bang. Enjoy beer tasting and other events sponsored by Budweiser.
March 14-15
St. Patrick's Day: Everyone is Irish while celebrating St. Patty's day. Enjoy great skiing while participating in one of the biggest parties of the year.
March 17
***Shades of Cream Chocolate and Champagne Weekend: Another new event sure to be a big hit. Enjoy Easter weekend while shipping champagne and enjoying chocolate in all forms.
March 21-23
Last Hurrah Weekend: Ride the last bit of powder and say goodbye to another fantastic season.
